The memory of that piece of pork belly deep fried with 5 spice (from what I can tell) and god knows what other spices was so awesome I knew I just had to visit the stall to taste the nasi lemak for sure ... KYspeaks

I came for the pan mee, but I ended up liking the loh mee better ... Bangsar bAbE

The accompaniments here are the usual minced pork with shredded black fungus, deep fried ikan bilis, some pork slices and yue wat ( fish paste ), and lots of amaranth vegetables ( yien choy in Cantonese ) instead of cekur manis ( shue tzai choy in Cantonese, mani chai is widely known in East Malaysia and strangely there's no English name given except for its scientific name of sauropus androgynus! It was already finished for that day, I chose to try the curry mee as a substitute, and it turned out to be a brilliant accident instead. nothing beats that fragrant sambal and raw cockles While this version at Segambut does not come with porks blood ( otherwise itd be totally perfect ), the chili, soup, and other ingredients did come togetherharmoniously to make a great bowl of curry mee...
